the episode begins with grissom finding a showgirl dead in a house. grissom questions a few local people, including a bank teller, a nightclub owner, and a famous singer. finally the breakthrough comes when sanders finds some dna from a booger. grissom goes back to the group and finds it was actually a bank teller the whole time, whom they had questioned before. grissom says "He who laughs last thinks slowest." and the episode fades to black.
