the episode begins with willows finding a drug dealer dead in a nightclub. willows questions a few local people, including a mechanic, a cab driver, and a debutant. finally the breakthrough comes when sanders finds some dna from a gun. willows goes back to the group and finds it was actually a mechanic the whole time, whom they had questioned before. grissom says "Remember half the people you know are below average." and the episode fades to black.
