the episode begins with sidle finding a cab driver dead in a nightclub. sidle questions a few local people, including a truck driver, a tourist, and a blackjack dealer. finally the breakthrough comes when grissom finds some dna from a strand of hair. sidle goes back to the group and finds it was actually a truck driver the whole time, whom they had questioned before. grissom says "Save the whales. Collect the whole set." and the episode fades to black.
