the episode begins with willows finding a pharmacist dead in a pool. willows questions a few local people, including a father, a hooker, and an entrepreneur. finally the breakthrough comes when brass finds some dna from a spot of blood. willows goes back to the group and finds it was actually a father the whole time, whom they had questioned before. grissom says "The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese." and the episode fades to black.
