the episode begins with stokes finding a tourist dead in a pool. stokes questions a few local people, including a stripper, a brother, and a gas station attendant. finally the breakthrough comes when willows finds some dna from a candlestick. stokes goes back to the group and finds it was actually a stripper the whole time, whom they had questioned before. grissom says "I feel like I'm diagonally parked in a parallel universe." and the episode fades to black.
