the episode begins with willows finding a pharmacist dead in a parking lot. willows questions a few local people, including a cab driver, a hooker, and a lawyer. finally the breakthrough comes when grissom finds some dna from a knife. willows goes back to the group and finds it was actually a cab driver the whole time, whom they had questioned before. grissom says "I intend to live forever - so far so good." and the episode fades to black.
