the episode begins with sanders finding a blackjack dealer dead in a pool. sanders questions a few local people, including a livein girlfriend, a poker dealer, and a mechanic. finally the breakthrough comes when willows finds some dna from a cheek cell. sanders goes back to the group and finds it was actually a livein girlfriend the whole time, whom they had questioned before. grissom says "The only substitute for good manners is fast reflexes." and the episode fades to black.
