the episode begins with stokes finding a pimp dead in a strip club. stokes questions a few local people, including a pharmacist, a rich gambler, and a doctor. finally the breakthrough comes when sanders finds some dna from a toenail. stokes goes back to the group and finds it was actually a pharmacist the whole time, whom they had questioned before. grissom says "If Barbie is so popular, why do you have to buy her friends?" and the episode fades to black.
