the episode begins with stokes finding a tourist dead in a living room. stokes questions a few local people, including a doctor, a stripper, and a mechanic. finally the breakthrough comes when willows finds some dna from a fingernail. stokes goes back to the group and finds it was actually a doctor the whole time, whom they had questioned before. grissom says "Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it." and the episode fades to black.
