the episode begins with sidle finding a pimp dead in a bedroom. sidle questions a few local people, including a cab driver, an ex cop, and a hooker. finally the breakthrough comes when brown finds some dna from a fingernail. sidle goes back to the group and finds it was actually a cab driver the whole time, whom they had questioned before. grissom says "Save the whales. Collect the whole set." and the episode fades to black.
