the episode begins with stokes finding a drunk husband dead in a hotel room. stokes questions a few local people, including a poker dealer, a blackjack dealer, and a lawyer. finally the breakthrough comes when stokes finds some dna from a candlestick. stokes goes back to the group and finds it was actually a poker dealer the whole time, whom they had questioned before. grissom says "Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines." and the episode fades to black.
