the episode begins with stokes finding a doctor dead in a bar. stokes questions a few local people, including a bank teller, a livein girlfriend, and a doctor. finally the breakthrough comes when stokes finds some dna from a footprint. stokes goes back to the group and finds it was actually a bank teller the whole time, whom they had questioned before. grissom says "Atheism is a non-prophet organization." and the episode fades to black.
