the episode begins with sidle finding a craps dealer dead in a rooftop. sidle questions a few local people, including a school teacher, a housewife, and a poker dealer. finally the breakthrough comes when sanders finds some dna from a pool of spit. sidle goes back to the group and finds it was actually a school teacher the whole time, whom they had questioned before. grissom says "Depression is merely anger without enthusiasm." and the episode fades to black.
