the episode begins with brass finding a school teacher dead in a desert. brass questions a few local people, including a gangbanger, a school teacher, and a stripper. finally the breakthrough comes when grissom finds some dna from a toeprint. brass goes back to the group and finds it was actually a gangbanger the whole time, whom they had questioned before. grissom says "Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines." and the episode fades to black.
