the episode begins with sidle finding a brother dead in a bedroom. sidle questions a few local people, including a brother, a livein girlfriend, and a tourist. finally the breakthrough comes when grissom finds some dna from a candlestick. sidle goes back to the group and finds it was actually a brother the whole time, whom they had questioned before. grissom says "I feel like I'm diagonally parked in a parallel universe." and the episode fades to black.
