the episode begins with sanders finding a drug dealer dead in a stairwell. sanders questions a few local people, including a pimp, a showgirl, and a poker dealer. finally the breakthrough comes when sidle finds some dna from a candlestick. sanders goes back to the group and finds it was actually a pimp the whole time, whom they had questioned before. grissom says "The only substitute for good manners is fast reflexes." and the episode fades to black.
