the episode begins with sanders finding a drug dealer dead in a dumpster. sanders questions a few local people, including a craps dealer, an ex cop, and a poker dealer. finally the breakthrough comes when brown finds some dna from a gun. sanders goes back to the group and finds it was actually a craps dealer the whole time, whom they had questioned before. grissom says "I intend to live forever - so far so good." and the episode fades to black.
