the episode begins with sidle finding a computer programmer dead in a restaurant. sidle questions a few local people, including a poker dealer, a nightclub owner, and a blackjack dealer. finally the breakthrough comes when grissom finds some dna from a toenail. sidle goes back to the group and finds it was actually a poker dealer the whole time, whom they had questioned before. grissom says "If Barbie is so popular, why do you have to buy her friends?" and the episode fades to black.
